Kami Eckels, DVM
Dr. Kami Eckels, DVM Dr. Kami Eckels, originally from Northwest Oklahoma, earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Oklahoma State University in 2014. She began her career in a small animal clinic in Woodward, where she developed a strong foundation in companion animal care and a passion for client relationships. Driven by a desire to provide more personalized, low-stress veterinary care—especially for rural families—Dr. Eckels launched a mobile veterinary service. This eventually grew into Neighborhood Veterinary Services, built with the help of her family. In 2020, the Eckels family relocated to Edmond to pursue their dream of owning a full-service veterinary clinic. In February 2021, they opened the doors to their Edmond location, where Dr. Eckels continues to provide compassionate, relationship-focused care for pets and their people.
